Opportunities . . . . . To Share Your Gifts

We all have Gifts to share.  If your gifts or talents lean toward manual labor, we can get you involved in Habitat for Humanity Projects or you might like to help some of our home-bound and elderly parishioners with such ordinary household chores as putting up storm windows, fixing porch steps, replacing shingles, repairing lawnmowers, raking leaves, shoveling snow, etc.

If your gifts and skills lie in the area of personal contact, we have opportunities for you to make home visits to shut-ins, sharing in home communion, praying with them and just sharing time with them to help brighten their day.  We also can get you involved helping at the Food Pantry, Clothing Exchange, and Soup Kitchen.  Perhaps you would enjoy mentoring teens, leading a class, or serving on a committee.

And of course we would be delighted to have you join us in: serving public suppers, making chicken pies, singing God's praises in our choir, playing in our Blue Grass Band, leading worship, reading scripture, helping with communion, and many other ways, as our congregation shows our love for Christ.
