Opportunities
If you have an interest in serving Christ, we can find a place for you to manifest your witness.
If your talents tend toward manual labor, we can put you to work on Habitat For Humanity projects, of which our area has two going each year.
Together the churches of our area have built 13 homes in six years.
Or, we can put you to work helping the home-bound and elderly with such ordinary household chores as repairing storm windows, fixing porch steps, replacing shingles, repairing lawnmowers, etc.
If your skills lie in the area of personal relationships, we have opportunities for you to visit the shut-in, pray with the troubled, help at the Food Bank / Soup Kitchen / Clothing Bank, mentor teens, lead a class, administer a project, join a chaplaincy program, or serve on a committee.
And of course, we would be delighted to have you join us in: serving public suppers, singing God's praise in the chancel choir, playing in a Christian country-rock band, studying, baking pies, planning programs, managing invested funds, leading worship, writing inspirational articles, visioning new ways to witness to the gospel, and all of the other varied activities by which a vital congregation shows its love for Christ and the world.
